MIT’s Introduction to Technology, Engineering, and Science (MITES) program is a six-week, on-campus summer enrichment program (often called MITES Summer) designed for high school juniors—particularly those from underserved or underrepresented backgrounds—who are passionate about STEM. Participants take five rigorous courses spanning math, science, humanities, and project-based electives, engage in lab tours, social events, and college admissions counseling, all free of charge (excluding travel)—including room and board.
